Sarah Walko

I helped Sarah set up a Wordpress site at sarahwalko.com. She has experience with the system and wanted something that she could update on her own. I helped with domain/hosting and got WP up and running. She enjoyed being able to select her own look and theme and to customize (to a limited degree).

It was my first experience building a site using Wordpress. The install was super simple and I realized why WP is so popular. We worked out best practices for theme management, plugins and navigation. I decided to learn a bit more PHP after that so I could adjust the CSS and eventually make themes.
