Museyon Guides, a small publishing startup in New York City, self‑described as "smart guide books for travel junkies, culture-vultures, movie lovers and history buffs," needed someone to design and layout their books. Their books focused on the art, film and music of cultural hotspots around the globe.
I joined up just as they were concepting a new book focused on New York history. That book went to be one of their top sellers so I was asked to go into full-time Chronicles mode. In the end, I helped with seven books. In addition to other side books, I helped with various collateral—banner ads, brochures and other marketing materials.
