Exploring the Historic City of Light. Paris. The city of love. This place has a very special place in my heart because this is was my first trip with my s.o. other than each other's cities (long distance!).
Where the Vegas book was rife with land grabbing deals, the American frontier, casinos and big personalities—the Paris book was about food, steadfastness, art and music. There's a story about the city being starved during a siege and them resorting to eating zoo animals instead of surrendering. Oh and the top restaurants fought over who got which animal. How amazing is that?
